Ekaterinburg Congress Center
This Basic Project corresponds to the final stage of a project already begun of the International Exhibition Centre of the Ekaterinburg, which will be completed with the CONGRESS HALL, Hotel, Planetarium and their related services described in this Project.
The complex is located in the South-East of the City, next to the connection node between the Third Ring and the Kolosovskiy Track, 4.5 km from the Airport Terminal and 9 km from Mayakovsky Park.
In the general context, this Complex should be understood as a Neo-tertiary Cluster, intense and functionally complex, which should create a new Metropolitan Centre in the South of the City, in synergy with the Koltsovo Airport.
The International Exhibition Centre consists of three rectangular pavilions located in the northern part of the Complex, which are arranged linearly and a square Pavilion which occupies the South-West corner of the Complex, all accessed by a large lobby with two wings around a wide garden that occupies the central part of the Complex. The four pavilions have been provisionally functioning for over a year, for exhibition events of varying magnitudes.
